Who are we & what makes us different?

Lyfeproof is a not for profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of young people.

We work with young people directly and often engage with families and organisation as part of the solution to true long term change.

We are different because we use good quality research, in modern and life relevant ways to improve lives.

We design and deliver innovative programmes to give young people the practical skills for the world of work and the thinking skills for long term  success.

Who do we work with?

Lyfeproof works with all levels of expertise in music, poetry, art & design, sports, digital multipedia, film, language, food or any special interest. We couple this with events management as it is a multidisciplinary skill area.

The array of skills gained through event management can be applied in the working world, and serve as a safe introduction to those still yet to enter it.

Lyfeproof works with ages from primary school level, secondary school level and up to 25 year olds. We find out your passion and then couple it with life relevant skills like : money handling, enterprise skills, communication skills, planning, time management and creative problem solving.

Lyfeproof is supported by a team of experienced practitioners and  award-winning mentors all proven in their field. We have strong partnerships with educational psychologists, speech & language therapists, parents and health professionals.

Our current partners include 42 educational institutes (up to college level), the University of Birmingham,  arts venues, community figures and several SMEs (Small, Medium Enterprises) who are all passionate about helping to give young people sustainable development pathways.

How do we help?

We place young people at the heart of all that we do. We care about preparing young people for being self-starters, future proofing them ready for the challenges that they will face in the future.

We find your passion; we support you with resources; then give you platforms to grow your skills to fuel your passion. For example: integrating sports with enterprise skills; hosting a coding and gaming event; leading outdoor adventure programmes for kids needing male rolemodels. Opportunities with us are endless.

Our best programmes are led by young people who have overcome difficutlies and they work with us as a way to give something back to future genrations.
