Hi Izzy, tell us a bit more about yourself!
Hi! I’m 14 years old, I’m a singer songwriter and I’ve been singing since I was 7 years old. I regularly perform at festivals, theatres and other events. I’m mainly inspired by Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga and Adele.
Izzy is only 14, and has been singing since she was 7 years old.
How did you get into songwriting?
I got bullied in school in Wolverhampton, so I used to write poems to deal with the bullying, then I would convert them into songs. I also took acting classes all around Wolverhampton where people used to make negative comments towards me too.
I suffered with various throat issues from birth till I was 12. I would still try to sing and would constantly get turned away. However, after I won a competition in sSandwell, I then started getting offers from charities to sing at events etc.
What would you like to get out of working with The Motive?
I want to build connections on social media to get to the next level. I want to get established on various social media platforms as I believe this is where you can gain the largest audience for future development
