Hey! So do you wanna introduce yourself?
Hello, my name is Jay Aver, I’m 18, and I’m studying media, film and psychology. I have a YouTube channel and want to do something with the type of content I create. Ideally, media management is a role that I’d love to get into in the future. I enjoy playing cricket and something which a lot of people may be unfamiliar with, in Tricking; which is a form of martial arts.
Jay thinks there needs to be more opportunities for people to connect around Dudley.
Is there anything you think could be better in Dudley?
Socialisation in dudley isn’t the best right now. More open spaces and things to do would be great, Dudley ain’t the place to go for many people if they wanna meet. We need better opportunities to meet other people.
What sort of impact does this have on you?
As I mentioned before, I’m into Tricking, but there’s not anywhere in Dudley where I can go to train. I have to travel into Birmingham just to get access to one of my favourite things to do.
