Have you or your friends said this at some point? Just because we hear certain political buzzwords a lot, that does not mean we understand them. Let’s leave all the political parties out of this one and go back to basics – what are they even talking about ??!
Sometimes called ‘winner takes all’. This voting system is simple however some people disagree with it, saying it is not representative and it encourages tactical voting (when voters vote for the party they think will beat those they like the least, instead of for the candidate they like the most).
Ahh So that’s where the word ‘politics’ comes from – political parties make policies.

Promises are made but hard to keep it seems. They are not quite the same as policies. Example: Recently Jeremy Corbyn called out Theresa May for breaking the Tories pledge to protect school funding.
If a party doesn’t have enough votes, then it needs to team up with another party to work together so that laws can be passed .. #TEAMWORK
